FAQs

What is the dress code?

For the Friday welcome party, we’re leaning into Brasada’s high desert location with a Western theme! Think semi-formal cowboy… boots, bolo ties, funky belt buckles, hats etc. encouraged. We just want you to have fun with it :)

For Saturday, attire is formal (or black tie optional). If you’re looking for specific guidance, don’t shy away from color, sequins, fringe or patterns!

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Yes! The ceremony will be outside on the Wild Rye lawn, overlooking the Cascade Mountain range. October in Central Oregon is usually comfortable during the day (avg. high of 67 degrees), cooling off significantly into the evening. Cocktail hour will also be on grass, please plan shoes accordingly!

Where is the wedding venue?

Brasada Ranch is located in Central Oregon, about 15 minutes away from the town of Redmond and 20 minutes from Bend. It holds a special place in our hearts - Maddie’s first family vacation with the Gabianellis was a trip to Bend to ski Mt. Bachelor, and we have since fallen in love with Bend’s mountain town feel.

Are kids allowed?

Due to limited capacity, our wedding will be an adults-only event. However, Brasada is a family-friendly resort with plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. You are more than welcome to bring children for the weekend, and we are happy to put you in contact with childcare resources for the evening events.

Will there be shuttles?

No, and you likely won’t need any transportation if you are staying onsite. Everything on the ranch is within walking distance of the event venues. However, if you would like a ride in a golf cart or Brasada vehicle, reception will arrange a ride for you free of charge.

If you are staying elsewhere, we kindly ask that you please arrange your own transportation to and from Brasada. Uber and Lyft are typically available in the area during the day, but become more unreliable at night. If you plan to stay offsite, we recommend that you pre-arrange transportation with Redmond Taxi Service or Shuttle Oregon.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please check the name or names listed on your save-the-date / invitation to confirm. While we would absolutely love to accommodate everyone, we are limited by venue space and can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When should I RSVP?

You may have noted that we don’t have RSVP functionality built into this site just yet. Sit tight, please! However, we ask that if you already know in advance that you’re not able to attend, please text or call Maddie or Garrett so that we may adjust our plans.
